History

Hodgkinsons Solicitors has been a recognised name in the legal sector for over 39 years after it was established by Frank Hodgkinson, a specialist Property Solicitor in Skegness in 1981.

In 1983 Tim Miller joined Hodgkinsons and helped the business to develop from a bespoke private client practice to a multi-disciplinary practice to include a litigation division.

The business further diversified following the introduction of Steve Hill in 1995 who is now the Senior Director and Head of the specialist Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Division.

The Company continued to expand following the introduction of Che Shing Li in 2004 who is now the Managing Director of the Company.

The original core business also continued to grow to meet the demands of existing and new Clients in the areas of Residential Property, Corporate and Commercial transactions and development projects. This resulted in the introduction of Rob Foster in 2007.

The Company was further transformed in 2005 when it relocated to purpose built offices offering leading technology and facilities which is yet a further emphatic reminder of our commitment to our Clients.

In 2017 Marie Leary joined the Team at Hodgkinsons Solicitors in the role of the in-house HR Manager. In 2019 the Directors invited Marie to become the Assistant Director of the Company, to which she accepted. Marie is the Company’s first female Assistant Director since Hodgkinsons Solicitors was established.

The ongoing transformation of the Company has allowed Hodgkinsons to be innovative, proactive, commercial and to maintain a standard of excellence to meet the needs and concerns of all Clients.
