Drink Driving
A conviction for drink driving can have disastrous results, leading to job loss, business failure, loss of home, marriage breakdown etc. If convicted the disqualification ranges from the minimum 12 month disqualification to an unlimited period disqualification and a fine of up to £5,000. The Court also has the discretion to award a custodial sentence of six months.

Dangerous Driving
Dangerous driving is an extremely serious allegation. If convicted of the offence you face a risk of imprisonment and an automatic disqualification of at least 12 months. You will also be required to sit an extended driving test before you are eligible to drive again.
Dangerous driving offences can include driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, street racing, driving at excessively high speeds, undertaking, overtaking where it is illegal or simply driving dangerously, such as on a bend or a hill. Ignoring road signs or traffic markings, use of a mobile phone while driving, reading a map while driving and driving a vehicle which is overloaded or not roadworthy are also offences.
