We’re Going Yellow To Support St Barnabas Hospice

We have been supporting St Barnabas Hospice this month by taking part in the hospice’s Go Yellow 2017 event, which has been running throughout June.

We’re Going Yellow To Support St Barnabas Hospice

Today, (Wednesday 28th June) we’re holding a “yellow day”, with staff donning yellow outfits, baking yellow treats and adorning the office with yellow decorations to help raise vital funds for the hospice, which provides specialist palliative care to patients in Lincolnshire.

St Barnabas Hospice, which this year celebrates its 35th anniversary, relies on fundraising and donations to meet its £4million annual running costs.

Charity events of all sizes are held throughout Lincolnshire and the hospice also operates 26 charity shops, staffed by volunteers.

Chloe Sullivan, solicitor at Hodgkinsons, commented: “The idea to take part in Go Yellow 2017 follows our Make A Will Month in May, when we wrote wills in return for a donation to the hospice. Twenty-one members of our team also participated in the St Barnabas 5k Colour Dash last month, and together we raised £3,096.05 for the hospice.

“We hope to build on our efforts so far and raise even more money for St Barnabas Hospice, which provides an essential service to people in our community. The very least we can do is dedicate our time to get involved with events like this to raise vital funds to meet its running costs.”
