Entries come to a close on the search for Skegness’ Best New Business 2017

For those of you who have been keeping up with local events, Skegness is due to celebrate the best of its local business which has a whole range of categories to choose from.

The next stage of the event will be for each category judge to shortlist their nominations down to the three with the highest scores. This is done with a specifically tailored score sheet to ensure fairness and consistency throughout. The three finalists will then be contacted within the next week or so and arrangements will be made for the judges to visit them and learn more about their business.

Chloe Sullivan of Hodgkinsons Solicitors said ‘It was great to see so many nominations for the ‘best new business’ category as it really goes to show what opportunities are out there for business people and entrepreneurs alike. There is a lot of business to be gained from such a busy seaside resort and it is fantastic to see this being taken advantage of with such successful new businesses starting out. We are looking forward to meeting with our three finalists and getting to know them and their business’.

It has certainly been a busy month for Hodgkinsons, as they help to not only judge ‘best new business’ but also prepare for an entertaining ceremony due to be held in November for the finalists.
