An opportunity has arisen for a Property Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our Conveyancing Team here at Hodgkinsons Solicitors, Skegness.

Property Conveyancer

Details of the Role

The successful candidate will have a caseload of their own, as well as assisting the Director of Conveyancing with commercial cases. Commercial conveyancing experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Minimum Requirements of the Role

In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria: 1. Minimum of 1 years’ experience of handling your own caseload of residential conveyancing sales and purchase files from start to finish; 2. Experience of drafting conveyancing contracts and preparing Land Registry and HMRC documentation.

Key Skills Required for the Post

The successful candidate will be able to handle their own case load from start to finish for residential conveyancing matters, including:

• Sales

• Purchases

• Re-Mortgages

• Transfers of Equity

• Assents

Experience of the following is desirable, but not essential as training will be given:

• Leasehold Properties

• New Build/Development Plot Purchases

• Shared Ownership Properties

• Commercial sales, purchases and leases

Salary Package Salary:

Negotiable depending upon experience


Skegness, Lincolnshire 

Hours of work:

Full-time position Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with one hour (unpaid) for lunch


25 days holiday. In addition, paid time off for Bank holidays.
