Background
Gemma originally joined Hodgkinsons Solicitors in 2016 to take on the role as a Legal Assistant within our Industrial Disease Unit. In 2017 our Company provided Gemma with an opportunity to become a Trainee Paralegal within our Dispute Resolution Team, which Gemma accepted. Thereafter Gemma has specialised in a number of different departments to include Medical Negligence before transitioning back into our thriving Civil Department where her passion lies.
In July 2019, Gemma qualified as a Paralegal following which, she continues to work towards her LLB on a part time basis to achieve her ultimate goal of becoming a qualified Solicitor.

Gemma is often praised for her Client care and astounding ability to assist in a number of legal fields which demonstrates her diverse spectrum of knowledge. Gemma always pays an exceptional level of commitment and determination to every role she fulfils. Gemma is always on hand to deal with any queries her Clients may have whilst consistently delivering results.
When asked what Gemma loves most about her job role she replied: “I like being able to talk with my Clients and learning about their lives whilst building relationships. I enjoy feeling like I’ve made a difference to someone’s life and helping them in a time of need. No two cases are ever the same which keeps my job exciting. I am always learning new things and facing new challenges which I enjoy as every day is different”.
