Hodgkinsons Solicitors were amongst 7 other teams who took part in the first battle of the day which saw the contestants dress up in a collection of inflatable outfits and slip amongst foamy slides in attempt to make it to the finish line.
The event raised a respectable £16,500.00 in total for St Barnabas who rely on donations such as these to help support those suffering with a life limiting or terminal illness. Hodgkinsons contributed £600.00 in donations towards the total amount.
Hodgkinsons are honoured to be able to help such a worthy charity and enjoy the fantastic events St Barnabas organise to make raising money such an enjoyable task.
Richard Strange, Solicitor of Hodgkinsons, said: “As a new comer to Hodgkinsons this was my first event which I took part in to help raise money and awareness for our charity of the year. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the day and I am looking forward to taking part again next year!"
To top it off, Hodgkinsons secured 3rd place out of the 7 teams but hope to beat this target next year by coming first and raising twice as much.
Hodgkinsons intend to continue to pledge their support for St Barnabas and look forward to taking part in many more activities with them throughout the year.
