Victoria joined Hodgkinsons Solicitors as a Paralegal in July 2015, and was appointed as a Trainee Solicitor in January 2017. Victoria obtained her law degree from Nottingham Trent University, and completed her LPC (Legal Practice Course) at Nottingham Law School, graduating with a distinction.
As part of her role within the Wills and Probate department, Victoria will continue to provide expert legal advice on matters relating to Wills, Probate, Court of Protection, Trusts and Powers of Attorney. She currently administers the Estates for a range of clients, including those with agricultural and business interests as well as other investments and trusts.
Victoria said: “Hodgkinsons’ Wills and Probate team enjoys a strong reputation across the region, so, as a newly qualified solicitor, I am delighted to be able to continue my career at the firm.”
During her time at Hodgkinsons Solicitors, Victoria has developed expertise in drafting complex Wills, including Discretionary and Disabled Beneficiary Trusts. She is also experienced in supporting clients with Court of Protection applications as well as the drafting and registration of Lasting and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Victoria will continue to manage the affairs of a number of clients, including the administration of an estate worth £1.2 million for one client, and investment funds of £800,000 on behalf of another client who has lost capacity.
