Lisa returned to live in England in 1999, after living in South Africa for 27 years, and joined our firm in 2001. Lisa has in excess of 20 years’ of experience in dealing with both straight forward and complicated personal injury claims.

How can Lisa help you?

Lisa deals with a wide variety of dispute resolution and litigation cases, representing both Claimants and Defendants.  As Lisa represents both Claimants and Defendants this affords her the ability to assess matters from both sides and enable her to advise her Clients on the related prospects and risks of the matter along with the most cost-effective way to resolve the issue.

Dispute resolution covers a wide variety of civil disputes such as boundary disputes, neighbour disputes, breach of contract, debt recovery and enforcement, property disputes, contentious probate and inheritance claims.

In addition, Lisa has a wealth of experience in pursuing personal injury claims arising out of road traffic accidents, accidents in public places ie: slips and trips, and accidents at work including industrial deafness and disease claims.

Recent Highlights

  • Successfully settling industrial disease claims where the responsible third party company is no longer operating and is dissolved;
  • Dealing with accidents abroad whilst on a package holiday;
  • Successfully defending an attempted Inheritance claim against a deceased’s Estate;
  • Winning a dilapidations claim for damages at trial for a landlord where a tenant had vacated and left significant damage to the property;
  • Negotiating settlements in Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA) claims (a financial interest/share in a property);
  • Pursuing claims for defective products and misrepresentation in sales and contracts.

Lisa Wilkinson was very helpful and understanding.
