Steve was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. He is the Company's Senior Director and the Head of the Personal Injury and Professional Negligence Teams.

Steve has genuine expertise of the full spectrum of personal injury litigation with particular emphasis in claims involving life changing injuries including traumatic brain injury, fatal accidents, amputations, spinal fractures and serious injuries to children. His attention to detail, excellent Client care skills and ability to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a case enable him to deal effectively with complex clinical negligence claims.
Steve has also developed a specialist practice representing victims suffering with chronic pain conditions including Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome and Fibromyalgia and is frequently asked to take over cases from other Solicitors.
In recent years Steve has assisted families of victims at a wide range of inquests including road traffic accidents, hospital deaths, workplace deaths and a fatal diving accident.
Steve has extensive experience dealing with claims against negligent professionals across the full spectrum of professions including, Accountants, Solicitors, Health Professionals, Surveyors and Architects.
Recent Highlights:
- Representing a child hit by a passing car causing a traumatic brain injury. Despite being rejected by 3 other Solicitors, Steve secured compensation in excess of £1.5 million.
- Representing a school child who suffered significant thermal burn injuries resulting in the loss of all the digits on her left hand and the thumb, ring and little fingers on her right hand. A settlement of over £840,000 was achieved.
- Representing a patient in a claim against a hospital for the failure to investigate and diagnose a Grade 2 ependymoma affecting his cervical spinal cord and causing permanent neurological damage and resulting in a settlement in excess of £1 million.
- Representing victims of minor road traffic accidents causing the development of post traumatic fibromyalgia. Settlement awards include £120,000, £150,000 and £540,000.
- Representing an employee who suffered a fractured foot causing the development of chronic regional pain syndrome (type 2) and resulted in a settlement of £760,000.
- Representing the widow of a patient who suffered a fatal pulmonary embolism due to a hospital’s negligence and resulting in a settlement of £305,000.
