COVID-19: Hodgkinsons Solicitors remain on hand to help you

During such uncertain times we would like to reassure our Clients that we will continue to follow and respect Government procedures in order to protect the health and safety of both our Clients and Employees.

COVID-19: Hodgkinsons Solicitors remain on hand to help you

All of the Team here at Hodgkinsons Solicitors are in good health, however, we have implemented contingency plans to allow many of our employees to work remotely. Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 23rd March, our offices closed for business on 5pm, 24th March 2020. Since the Pandemic first began, we vowed that we would take any necessary steps to ensure the safety of our Clients and Employees, which saw the closure of our offices on Tuesday 24th March. We will, however, continue to be on hand to help you with any legal queries you may have, but our services will be delivered to you on a remote basis only. Thankfully, due to our investment in technology, we are able to do this seamlessly. Our phone system and emails will work as normal, and someone will always be on the other end of the phone to answer your questions.

Whilst we try to remain working to a ‘business-as-usual’ structure as fully as possible, we are unable to operate in our normal facilities. Whilst we are working remotely, we will be operating as follows:

  • Email – Many of our employees have full access to their emails remotely, however, some may not. If you need to contact a specific employee, but you are unsure of their direct email address, please email info@hodgkinsons.co.uk and your email will be passed on to someone who can assist you as soon as possible.
  • Phone calls – All appointments will now take place over the phone. All working employees are able to answer their calls, as they would be able to in the office. If you know the direct dial of the person whom you wish to contact, you can call them using this number. Alternatively, if you are unsure of the direct dial, our reception system will also be working remotely, which you can contact using 01754 897150.
  • Post – We will be opening and responding to post where possible. Due to the nature of this form of communication, longer response times may be incurred. We would like to encourage anyone who needs to send a document to us, that they do so electronically where possible.

If you have any questions about the information above, please call us and we will be happy to advise you on the best way to resolve your query. At Hodgkinsons we have aided home working for many years, and we understand how to work to the best of our ability under such circumstances.

We will continue to reassess the structure in which we deliver our services to you as we react to Government advice and we will ensure we keep you closely informed with our decisions. Please be rest assured that we are here to help you through this time. Please take care of yourself and your families, during such unprecedented times.
