Ian is a Partner and head of Wills & Probate, Trust and Estate Planning
Ian is a Solicitor and is head of the Private Law Department. He specialises in the preparation of Wills and advises on inheritance tax planning and the creation and administration of trusts.
Ian has extensive experience in acting for executors of estates of all sizes and is particularly knowledgeable about the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and offers specialist advice on Lasting Powers of Attorneys and Court of Protection applications. Ian is also responsible for maintaining the Firm's LEXCEL status and oversees client care and compliance issues within the Firm.
