Established by a specialist Property Solicitor in 1981, our Company has become a recognised platform in the property and legal sector for over 39 years. During this time, our original core business has grown to meet the demands of existing and new Clients in all areas of Commercial Property. To enable our Commercial Property Department to grow and develop further, the introduction of a new Commercial Property Specialist has arisen. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Conveyancing Lawyer to join our Team of unique and dedicated Property Conveyancers.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience of working within a busy Commercial Property Department and will have proven experience of working autonomously on commercial sales and purchases, as well as being able to accurately assess and draft a range of commercial leases. They will have the ability and enthusiasm to proactively supervise, mentor and train other members of the team. They will have strong administration, Microsoft Office, written and verbal skills. They will enjoy working in a busy Team, be very organised, and be able to prioritise a busy workload whilst working to tight deadlines, be innovative, and trusted to deliver. The successful candidate will understand the importance of Client care and be committed to delivering the outstanding service that Hodgkinsons is renowned for. Experience of the following would be desirable; however, full training will be given:
- Business Sales and Acquisitions;
- Residential Development - Sales and Purchases;
- Sales of Land, including land for development;
- Deed of Easements;
- Assignment of Equitable Interests;
- Trading / Partnership Agreements;
- Re-Financing;
- Guarantee and Loan Agreements;
- Partnership Trusts;
- Section 106 Agreements
Within this role, the successful candidate will have a caseload of commercial conveyancing cases of their own, as well as being responsible for assisting the Head of Department with his casework. The candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision and will have an enthusiasm for commercial conveyancing work. This role offers genuine career progression opportunities, working closely with the Director of conveyancing.
Salary will be commensurate with seniority and experience.
